Rephrased is an app designed to make meetings/lectures easier by transcribing and summarizing important information or topics. As a college student who struggles with note-taking during lectures, I created this app to ease the burden and leave more time for things that are important to me without compromising my learning.
Q: What platforms are Rephrased available on?
A: Rephrased is currently only available on iOS in the App Store/TestFlight. But we hope to expand to other platforms in the future!
Q: How do I use Rephrased?
A: Using Rephrased is simple. Just open the app, press the record button, then stop the recording when you are done and the transcript/summary will generate for you automatically!
Q: Does Rephrased work offline?
A: While the transcription works offline, the AI summary generation will only work when you are connected to the internet.

Rephrased free gives you limited uses of Standard subscription plan free of charge or and enrollment in a free trial. You will have access to all the features of the Standard plan until you run out of free uses. When you run out of free uses, don't worry! You will still be able to export and access your previously generated transcripts and summaries, although you will be prompted to choose a subscription when you try to record another session. Although this plan is quite limited at the moment, we hope to expand the features of the free plan in the future!
Rephrased Standard provides access to 100 hours of recording per month and 4 hour recording limits, which is sufficient for most instances such as school/college or regular business meetings. This plan provides cost-effectiveness and access to the transcription and summarization core features.
Rephrased Pro is the highest available subscription, providing unlimited monthly usage on a device and 8 hour recording limits. In addition to higher limits than the standard plan and the features already included, the Pro plan also provides access to more advanced features as they are released.
